I am a Fine Art graduate with a lifelong passion for creativity and visual expression. After university, I was fortunate to work for the National Museum of Wales for over five years. In 2015, I made the life-changing decision to move from the UK to Norway, where I now live with my Norwegian partner. Since then, my journey has taken several unexpected yet deeply meaningful turns.
After moving to Norway, I began an apprenticeship in landscaping, but due to a workplace accident, I was unable to complete it. This experience led me to re-think my career path and explore new directions. I later considered returning to university to study landscape engineering and had the opportunity to gain insight into the field through work experience with Bærum Kommune Eiendom, Uteavdelingen. During this time, I came to understand that a full-time role in that area would not be the right fit for me.
Through my collaboration with NAV, I am currently part of an AFT program, which has allowed me to reconnect with my creative background. Working in graphic design has reignited my passion for art and design, opening up a new and exciting path forward.
I am now fortunate to be undertaking a 50% apprenticeship in media design with Arba Grafisk AS, where I continue to develop my skills and grow as a designer. Alongside this, I have always been a keen photography enthusiast, with a particular love for capturing nature and landscapes. I also enjoy sharing moments from everyday life through my Instagram, where I document the journey of my three year old Dobermann.
My path has not been a straight line, but it has shaped who I am today, adaptable, creative, and motivated to keep learning and evolving.
